Due to the retirement of the current CEO in September 2026 we are looking for a strategic, values-driven CEO to lead Writing East Midlands into its next phase of growth and stability.
A respected, Arts Council-aligned literature development agency, we support writers at every stage and are recognised for our expertise in working within community settings for social good.
Opportunities & Responsibilities
- Lead new visioning and thinking in complex times.
- Lead sustainable growth and income diversification.
- Manage key relationships and partnerships including Arts Council England.
- Support our transition from CIC to CIO.
We’re seeking a senior leader with experience in the arts, cultural, education, or voluntary sector, strong financial and governance skills, and a passion for literature and inclusion.
