Business Development Manager – UK & Ireland

Our people are at the heart of this mission, and we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to strengthen our team in the UK & Ireland.
This is a high-impact commercial role, focused on driving growth across the region by developing new business opportunities and building long-term partnerships with key players in FMCG, retail, and supply chain environments. You will operate in a complex, multi-stakeholder context, engaging at senior levels and shaping strategic conversations around sustainability, efficiency, and innovation.
What you will be doing
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across UK & Ireland
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with a strategic and consultative approach
- Build and execute robust account plans to drive revenue growth
- Lead commercial negotiations, including multi-year contracts
- Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions
- Contribute to Tosca’s growth journey within circular economy and sustainable packaging
What we are looking for
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-value B2B business development
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Background in FMCG, retail, food production, packaging or supply chain environments
- Experience negotiating long-term commercial agreements
- Experience in pooling, returnable transit packaging, or sustainable packaging solutions
- Exposure to ESG-driven or circular economy discussions
- Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments
Skills
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
- Expertise in pipeline management and account planning
- Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities
- Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English, with willingness to travel (approx. 40%)
Education
- Degree in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
