Job Description
Sharps Furniture Group are the UK’s premier fitted furniture manufacturer and installer. We are looking for skilled bedroom installers, joiners, carpenters, cabinet makers, shop fitters or furniture fitters to join our team.
We offer numerous local, weekly paid contracts available in a sub‑contracted / self‑employed capacity across our brands – Sharps, Fittingly and Clever Closet.

- All contracts pre‑surveyed with full CAD drawings sent in advance.
- For Sharps: all materials are delivered into the room of installation prior to your arrival; you just start the day of installation.
- For Clever Closet: you will need a van to pick up materials from one of our service hubs.
- Daily back‑up from Sharps Planning & Installations team to ensure the contract is completed on time.
- Technical assistance from Sharps Installations team.
- Support from Sharps Runouts team, including next‑day parts to complete the contract promptly.
- All fixings/hardware supplied.
During your first five months you’ll receive enhanced payments to support you as you familiarise yourself with Sharps products and operations.
Requirements
- Own vehicle and tools.
- First‑class carpentry skills. You will be asked to demonstrate your ability with a full floor‑to‑ceiling panel scribed around coving and skirting on day one.
Contract rate: Up to £325 per day (amount may vary based on location).
Contract rate is negotiable and is based on experience and location.
