Collection and Delivery Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting for 3.5T Collection & Delivery Drivers to work from York on behalf of Parcelforce, one of the UK’s most trusted delivery services. This role involves both parcel collections and deliveries, offering a mix of driving and customer interaction. You will be responsible for collecting and delivering parcels from residential and business addresses, ensuring timely and accurate service using a 3.5-tonne van provided by Parcelforce. Your RoleDriving a 3.5T Royal Mail vehicle on pre-planned routes.Collecting and delivering mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses.Loading and unloading vehicle safely and efficiently.Providing excellent customer service at every doorstep.RequirementsFull UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.Recent experience driving a 3.5T van.Excellent customer service skills.Good local knowledge of York.Willingness to complete a criminal background check (DBS).Other Information: Working Hours: 08:30AM – 18:00 Monday to FridayPay Rate: £14.63Start Date: 30/04/2026End Date: 10/04/2026Location: York, YO26 6QSReady to deliver excellence?
