Key Responsibilities

• Performing mechanical fitting tasks on marine vessels
• Conducting maintenance, repairs and installations on various equipment
• Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure project targets are met
• Documenting and reporting work completed and any issues encountered
• Adhering to project deadlines and maintaining a high level of workmanship

Job Requirements

• Experience in shipbuilding/shiprepair or ex Royal Navy
• Strong mechanical fitting skills
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship)
• Current SC Clearance is essential – will require confirmation form UKSV

Working Hours

• Normal dayshift: 08:05 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday, 08:05 to 12:05 Friday
• Overtime available project dependant
• Possible requirement for AWP (Alternative Working Pattern): 12-hour xwzovoh shifts on a 21-day rotation which is paid at an uplift
• One rate all hours – £39/h Umb co or £29.12/h PAYE plus £3.51/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced)
