Site Engineer – Civils / Highways

Location: Guildford

Start: End of April

Rate: Dependent on experience

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering contractor on a project in Guildford.

This role is ideally suited to engineers with a strong background in civils and highways, looking to work on a well-run project with ongoing opportunities.

The Role

• Setting out for highways and civil engineering works
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
• Managing quality assurance and site documentation
• Supporting site teams and coordinating subcontractors
• Monitoring progress and assisting with programme delivery
• Maintaining high health & safety standards on site

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civils / highways
• Strong setting out and surveying capability
• Experience using Fieldview and CAD (essential)
• Good understanding of QA processes and site reporting
• Ability to read and interpret technical xwzovoh drawings
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team
