Job Title: Test Automation Manager
Location: London (must be willing to travel to client sites throughout the UK on an ad‑hoc basis)
Salary: Competitive salary and package (depending on level of experience)
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to develop or improve Quality Engineering strategies and processes. Lead a team of Quality Engineers, ensuring effective delivery of testing initiatives while actively participating in hands‑on testing and code reviews. Champion engineering excellence by delivering value efficiently and with low complexity. Contribute to internal and regional Quality Engineering communities, sharing knowledge and shaping best practices.
Qualifications
- Many years of leading a team and growing team members’ careers.
- Several years defining and implementing modern Quality Engineering concepts, including automated testing.
- Active involvement in testing and code writing, in addition to defining strategy and influencing.
- Proficiency in at least one object‑oriented programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience with GenAI (e.g., Playwright with MCP), AI‑assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude), and familiarity with LangChain or LangGraph. Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Comfortable working collaboratively, upholding an egoless approach and fostering learning within the team.
- Adaptable to change and eager to learn new tools and tech stacks as client requirements evolve.
