Overview
Larksfield and Arlesey Medical Partnership is seeking a motivated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 6-8 sessions per week.
We are a well-established partnership operating across two sites and serving just under 20,000 local community patients. Our focus on teamwork, continuity of care and staff wellbeing provides a dynamic and supportive working environment.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive, patient‑centred general medical services
- Managing a varied clinical caseload, including routine consultations and chronic disease management
- Managing acute presentations, chronic disease and preventative care
- Conducting face‑to‑face, telephone, and online consultations
- Undertaking routine GP duties: referrals, prescriptions and clinical documentation
- Contributing to practice meetings, clinical discussions, governance and quality improvement activities
- Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
- Supporting teaching, training or supervision (if interested)
- Providing high‑quality, evidence‑based general medical care to registered patients
- Supporting continuity of care and maintaining high clinical standards
Qualifications (Essential)
- Full registration with the GMC and on the NHS England GP Performers List
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice or on the GP Register
- Strong clinical, communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to patient‑centred care and teamwork
- Experience using SystmOne (or equivalent clinical system)
Qualifications (Desirable)
- Previous experience in UK general practice
- Previous experience using Accurx
- Interest in extended access, mentoring or service development
- Portfolio interests welcomed and supported
- Postgraduate qualifications relevant to primary care (e.g. MRCGP, DFSRH, DCH)
Experience (Essential)
- Experience working as an independent GP in the UK
- Experience managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
Experience (Desirable)
- Experience in a similar role within NHS primary care
- Experience of QOF, enhanced services or PCN working
- Special interest in areas such as diabetes, women’s health, mental health, minor surgery, palliative care or care homes
