What Makes This Role Exciting

CloudPay is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of our global payroll and payments solutions for new and existing clients. This role focuses on driving project execution, managing client relationships, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project lifecycle for client implementations, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process, fostering strong relationships and managing expectations effectively.
  • Facilitate and lead project meetings, including kick-off calls, status updates, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, including technical teams, payroll specialists, and third-party vendors, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Identify, track, and resolve project issues and risks, escalating as necessary to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to CloudPay’s implementation methodology, best practices, and quality standards.
  • Provide regular and accurate project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Potentially manage multiple implementation projects concurrently.

Experience Needed For This Role

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager, specifically within software implementation, ideally in the HR, payroll, or financial technology sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex client-facing projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, PRINCE2) and tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with global payroll or payments solutions is highly desirable.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
