We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager with experience working within theHealth & Social Care sectorto join our HR team and play a key role in shaping a positive, inclusive, and high‑performing workplace culture.

About the Role

As our HR Manager , you will lead on all aspects of operational HR across 5 homes, working collaboratively with the Head Office team and Home Managers to ensure consistent, people‑centred practices. This is a hands‑on, varied operational role ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day expert HR guidance on employee relations, performance management, absence management, recruitmentand employment law.
  • Support managers with investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances, ensuring fair and compliant processes.
  • Support Home Managers with recruitment and workforce planning activities to maintain safe staffing levels.
  • Oversee Planday onboarding compliance to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support Home Managers with weekly HR meeting to achieve weekly KPIs.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR and DSPT compliance.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • CIPD Level 5or 7 qualified (or equivalent), with a minimum of 5 years generalist HR experience.
  • Knowledgeable about employment law and confident in handling complex ER cases.
  • Knowledgeable about HR compliance with an understanding of CQC guidelines.
  • Must be experienced working within health & social care, in a multi‑site environment or anotherregulatory sector.
  • A strong communicator with excellent relationship‑building skills.
  • Highly organised, resilient, and adaptable.
  • Passionate about creating a positive employee culture that supports outstanding care.
