Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and key suppliers.
- Lead assigned sourcing initiatives, ranging from routine renewals to complex strategic projects, with minimal oversight.
- Conduct market tenders and manage cross-functional evaluations to select optimal suppliers.
- Understand business requirements and structure deals to meet objectives while achieving favorable commercial terms.
- Draft contracts based on standard terms and conditions and oversee the deal execution end-to-end.
- Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior stakeholders throughout the sourcing process.
- Maintain market awareness and contribute to sourcing area plans and opportunity assessments.
- Identify opportunities to deliver savings and benefits through efficient sourcing.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members in complex sourcing projects.
Requirements:
- Several years’ experience in strategic sourcing, ideally with deep expertise in IT categories.
- University degree or equivalent; MCIPS qualification is desirable.
- Proven experience managing large, multi-million-dollar global deals , covering all aspects of the tender process.
- Hands-on, results-driven approach with the ability to manage deals independently.
- Strong client and stakeholder focus with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Skilled negotiator with excellent communication abilities.
- Experience structuring complex deals and developing sourcing strategies.
- Competent in contract drafting and understanding agreements including software licenses, evaluation agreements, and SaaS contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experienced with market-leading sourcing tools and systems.
