Electrical Project Manager – Salary up to £85,000 plus package (DOE) – Central London
They are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead the Electrical element on a fast and complex project based in Mayfair, our client are set to deliver the shell and core, then fitout of a major commercial development for a leading law firm. This project boasts a £25m M&E package.
The successful candidate will be expected to take the project from pre-construction through to handover. Key to this role is relationship management, team coordination and project reporting. The position will be supported by a team of engineers, construction managers and supervisors
Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants) Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors Value Engineering where applicable Programming of works – using MS Project or Asta project Health & Safety management (RAMs) Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey. Management of variations Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors) Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings Overseeing commissioning stages Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover
Experience working in the commercial sector Experience managing projects to a minimum of £6M within your own discipline A minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior management role Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as ISg, Lend Lease, Sir Robert McAlpine and Mace.
