adi Automation Control Panel Builder

Location – Kings Norton, Birmingham

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Control Panel Builder to join our workshop team. You’ll be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels from schematic drawings and layout diagrams, working closely with our design engineers to deliver high-quality systems to specification.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and wiring control panels to electrical schematics and layout drawings
  • Mounting and wiring components such as PLCs, relays, VFDs, breakers, and terminals
  • Carrying out panel testing and quality checks before dispatch
  • Assisting with fault-finding, modifications, and on-site commissioning support (where required)

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven experience in control panel assembly or electrical panel wiring
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems, components, and wiring practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Full UK driving license
