Kane Selection Ltd is representing one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers of plant and machinery to the construction, demolition, ports, timber, scrap and recycling sectors. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Sales Manager to lead new equipment sales across North East England.

This is an established territory with strong existing customer relationships and significant growth potential. Take full responsibility for new equipment and attachments sales across the North East England region Manage and develop relationships with construction, demolition, ports, scrap processors, timber operations and recycling facilities Promote a comprehensive range of heavy construction plant equipment from leading OEM partners Work closely with internal sales coordinators, workshop teams, and service engineers to ensure seamless customer delivery Proven sales experience in heavy construction plant equipment – closely related equipment or route to market considered A background working for a dealer, manufacturer, or end-user in the construction, demolition, scrap, ports, timber or recycling industries Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the territory

Achieve agreed sales targets for new equipment and attachments Prepare quotations using internal systems and liaise with sales coordinators on order processing Inspect customer trade-in machines and coordinate with workshop teams on delivery schedules Use reporting tools (Power BI) to track stock, timelines, and delivery forecasts Understand customer operations and provide value-based equipment solutions

Work Experience Requirements Minimum 3+ years in a sales or account management role within heavy construction plant equipment Proven track record in developing and maintaining customer relationships Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal support teams
