We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Sport & Entertainment division in Birmingham, supporting a portfolio of national governing bodies across the UK. This is a dynamic, client-facing role that combines relationship management with strategic growth. You’ll be responsible for delivering outstanding service, ensuring client retention, and identifying opportunities to expand our footprint. The role involves regular travel to client sites, making strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach essential. The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter, capable of managing their own workload, building long-term partnerships, and thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Review and prepare client documentation to support accurate and timely quoting. Produce compliant market documentation and ensure accurate data entry. Monitor and forecast renewal and new business activity for planning purposes. Support the development of new products and wordings through market research. Support recruitment, succession planning, and personal development initiatives.
Strong understanding of insurance principles and relevant regulatory environments. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation abilities. Skilled in coaching or mentoring junior colleagues (desirable). Proficient in relevant systems and Microsoft Office applications.
