About the Role: QA Technician (Day & Night Shifts)

Joining their exciting team based in the Northeast of England, you’ll take on the role of a Quality Assurance Technician. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll be responsible for the inspection & auditing of our client’s plastic products, ensuring they’re being produced to standard & quality.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the inspection & auditing of our client’s plastic products, ensuring their quality & standard.

· Taking product samples from the shopfloor to test, measure & inspect their standards against specifications to ensure they’re quality controlled.

· Ensuring any product samples with faults are rectified on the shopfloor, following up on any imperfections until they’ve been resolved on the production line.

· Daily auditing of documentation and our client’s Quality Management System.

· Responsible for approving plastic products that are to be released.

Requirements:

· Time served experience in a similar, compliance driven role – such as health & safety, production, quality assurance & control.

NB: candidates from a production background must be able to demonstrate a clear desire to move into a QA role.

· Must have a genuine desire to move into QA, or already have experience & a passion for QA.

· Experience from within a compliance-driven sector, ideally: food & beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, medical, industrial manufacturing.

· Happy to work both day & night shifts.

· Full right to work in the UK.

Package:

· Up to £27,800 annum.
