NEW MATERIAL PROGRAM MANAGER BASED IN LITTLEHAMPTON. Our client based in West Sussex has a new Material Program Manager to drive supply chain deliverables, optimize engineering inventory, and ensure the successful introduction of new products to market.
As a Material Program Manager, you will be a critical leader in our product development process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage prototype material availability, optimize costs, identify risks, and ensure production readiness. Responsibilities as a Material Program Manager in Littlehampton. Create sourcing plans for prototypes, NPI, production ramps, and long-term production, ensuring alignment with commodity management strategies. Identify and mitigate long-term supply chain risks, including component lifecycle challenges. Actively engage with suppliers for identification, selection, and performance management. Optimize engineering inventory through best practices in procurement and inventory disposition.
