Buyer/Procurement Specialist
Salary: c.£50,000 plus car allowance, bonus and pension
Location: South Manchester (3 days in office)

Grafton Recruitment are working with a large award-winning engineering and construction focused corporate to recruit an experienced procurement professional.
We are looking to speak with candidates who have a background in tendering of materials, services, and 3rd party agreements, managing procurement projects, and in setting up framework agreements.
You will be joining a large and sophisticated function, with the opportunity to develop your procurement skillset and with the chance of promotion within the team. This is a successful and growing organisation that has won awards around how it services its customers.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and running tender processes
- Negotiating pricing and contractual terms
- Identifying and delivering cost savings, or cost avoidance
- Implementing and renewing framework agreements
- Managing and influencing internal stakeholders
- Managing supplier relationships and supplier performance, compliance and preventing supplier risk
- Sourcing potential new suppliers
Requirements:
- Previous procurement experience
- Demonstrable working knowledge of complex tendering process
- Delivering strong commercial agreements
- Project procurement involvement
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills
- Full UK Drivers licence
