We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician who will carry out general maintenance duties, supporting facilities operations across Leeds (LS11 8BU) with possible travel to Normanton and Carr Gate sites within a 10-mile radius, ensuring buildings and equipment are maintained to a high standard. Role Responsibilities: Carry out general porterage, cleaning support where required, decorating duties as requested by the Facilities Manager, and maintain internal and external entrances and surrounding areasUndertake routine checks on plant and equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions are achievedPerform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a regular basis in line with schedules and requirementsCarry out building fabric activities including patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting, and decorating tasksEnsure all maintenance and repair work is completed in line with safety standards, compliance requirements, and site expectations Required Qualifications:Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role: Previous experience as a handy person or in a general maintenance role with broad practical skillsExperience working in a customer-facing environmentPhysical dexterity and manual handling capabilityFull valid driving licenceAbility to meet West Yorkshire Police vetting requirements What’s in it for you?
