Stores Operative Location: Redditch Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Benefits About the Company We are a large, well-established manufacturing facility based in Redditch, supporting high-volume production and precision engineering operations. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Stores operative to join our production support team. This is not a general warehouse role — we are looking for candidates with proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering stores environment. The Role Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring production cells receive accurately picked and kitted components in line with route cards and bills of materials. Key Responsibilities: Kitting parts for production and assembly in line with route cards and BOMsReading and interpreting route cards, pick lists, and engineering drawingsIssuing materials to production cells accurately and on timeUsing SAP or equivalent ERP/WMS systems for stock control and transactionsMaintaining stock accuracy and supporting cycle countsWorking closely with production teams to support manufacturing flow Accuracy is critical in this role — you must demonstrate a strong track record of low error rates and attention to detail.
