Software Developer
Location: Wrexham, Onsite

We are on the lookout for a Software Developer to support the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of a regulated digital platform used across multiple projects.
This role focuses on configuration‑driven development, automation, and quality assurance, rather than heavy feature coding.
The Role:
You’ll play a key role in ensuring fast, accurate, and compliant deployments by configuring studies, managing updates, and supporting system interoperability. The work is detail‑oriented and quality‑focused, with a strong emphasis on testing, validation, and documentation.
Technical Environment
- Web and Mobile Applications (Android & iOS)
- Java‑based backend
- Front end: React Native & JavaScript
- Low‑code / configuration‑led development (JSON‑driven)
- Cloud exposure desirable (Azure and/or AWS)
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy scripts, updates, and production fixes
- Release applications using automated deployment and configuration tools
- Manage the input and upload of translations
- Verify and validate all system updates
- Perform functional testing as required
- Complete and maintain required quality and compliance documentation
- Work alongside distributed engineering teams on complex development items
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in software development or engineering or a relevant computer science degree
- Exposure to Java, JavaScript, and/or React Native (commercial or personal projects)
- Strong understanding of JSON file structures
- Engineering mindset with a focus on testing, reliability, and problem‑solving
- Familiarity with Git, branching strategies, and version control best practices
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Contract Details:
- Inside IR35
- Onsite – Wrexham (4-5 Days Per Week)
- 12 Months Contract + Extensions
