Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Crime Insurance Underwriter to join our team on-site in London. The role involves assessing and underwriting crime insurance risks, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with brokers and clients to develop tailored insurance solutions. Additional responsibilities include evaluating proposals, negotiating terms, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, and preparing high-quality reports and documentation. The successful candidate will also monitor existing portfolios and stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes to provide superior advisory support to clients.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in risk assessment, financial analysis, and underwriting, particularly in crime and fraud insurance
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills for collaborating with brokers and clients
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and insurance market trends
- High attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate and comprehensive reports
- Proficiency in insurance-specific systems and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications
- Relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
- Professional certifications in insurance or risk management (e.g., ACII) are advantageous
