Build high-performance trading systems for hedge funds using Rust
They are an early-stage fintech that’s developing a next-generation portfolio, order, and risk management platform for credit hedge funds. They’re tackling a space still dominated by legacy systems and spreadsheets, with a modern, high-performance approach.
You will be joining the team of currently three engineers, meaning the majority of the work is greenfield. You’ll be designing and building core systems and architecture from the ground up, with real ownership and the ability to shape both the technical direction and the product itself.
The engineering focus is heavily on Rust, building high-performance, low-latency trading systems for hedge funds. That said, they’re open to strong engineers from any language background (C++, Java, C#, etc.), as long as there’s an interest in working with Rust. There’s also a strong push around leveraging AI to enhance portfolio analytics and automate workflows, so it’s a great opportunity to work at the intersection of trading systems and emerging technology.
This is a senior-level engineering role, working closely with highly experienced founders and directly impacting the direction of the platform. The company has offices in London and Barcelona, with the flexibility to work and live in either location.
