Location: Portsmouth (2 days onsite)Contract: 12 months (start 1 May 2026)Rate: £570/day Outside IR 35Clearance: SC (or higher) MUST BE ACTIVE

As a Solution Architect, you’ll design secure, scalable systems and act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring strong architectural governance across the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain solution architectures aligned to strategic goals
• Challenge requirements and guide technical direction
• Manage architectural risk and ensure GDS compliance
• Collaborate within Agile teams and communicate with stakeholders
• Produce clear, high-quality documentation

Essential Skills

• Experience in complex solution design
• Kubernetes / containerisation
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Modern security principles (Zero Trust, Secure by Design)
• GDS lifecycle and Digital Service Assessment knowledge
• Experience with Power Platform, Palantir Foundry, or similar
