What you will do
- Design and build scalable software for complex financial processes including insurance underwriting, risk scoring, and payment servicing.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, design, and data teams to iterate on features using TypeScript, Next.js, and Python.
- Improve system quality and developer experience by investing in infrastructure, automated testing, and observability using AWS and Vercel.
The Ideal Candidate
- Over 3 years of full‑stack engineering experience in a fast‑paced startup environment, with a strong leaning towards backend development.
- Proficiency in modern tech stacks including TypeScript (React/Next.js/Node.js) and Python, with solid experience in PostgreSQL and RDBMS.
- A pragmatic problem‑solver who prefers simple solutions over complexity and is comfortable navigating the ambiguity of an early‑stage fintech environment.
