Automation & Data Reporting Consultant (Power BI)
Contract | Outside IR35 | SC Cleared
We are seeking an experienced Automation & Data Reporting Consultant to support the design, automation, and delivery of high‑quality data reporting and analysis solutions. This role will focus on improving reporting efficiency and enabling data‑driven decisions within a secure environment.
Key Details
- Rate: £375 per day
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Security Clearance: Active SC clearance (essential)
- Additional Clearance: NPPV3 (desirable)
- Location: London (on‑site 3 days per week)
- Contract Length: 3‑month initial contract with strong likelihood of extension
- Start: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Automate recurring data reporting processes to improve efficiency and data reliability
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Carry out data analysis to identify trends, insights, and recommendations
- Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into robust data solutions
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and appropriate governance across reporting outputsDocument automation logic and reporting processes
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modelling, dashboard design)
- Proven experience in data analysis and automated reporting
- Ability to work with multiple data sources (e.g. SQL databases, Excel, cloud‑based platforms)
- Solid understanding of data transformation and preparation (Power Query)
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Active SC clearance is essential
- Comfortable operating in an outside IR35 contracting environment
Nice to Have
- NPPV3 clearance
- SQL or scripting experience for enhanced data manipulation
- Experience improving or modernising existing reporting frameworks
- Background working in secure, government, or regulated environments
