Job Overview:
This technical leadership role drives enterprise AI innovation at Arm by redefining research and emerging technologies into scalable, secure, and responsible solutions that deliver measurable business impact
As a part of AI Enablement team, this role will work across and closely with the Director of Data & AI Platforms and the Senior Director of Data, engaging across the AI Delivery Teams, Data, Architecture and Engineering, leads Arm’s AI innovation and incubation agenda, turning experimentation into secure production ready solutions that directly support business priorities and OSKRs.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on authority in AI, ML, and Generative AI, with a track record of delivering at scale. They fuse architectural vision with real‑world execution to build a responsible, high‑performance AI capability.
- Design, build, and test new AI concepts spanning LLMs, RAG frameworks, ML models, and emerging AI protocols (e.g., MCP servers, AI coding assistants, agentic workflows/multi agent frameworks).
- Rapidly develop proofs of concept and MVPs that deliver tangible value and efficiency improvements.
- Leverage, evaluate, and maximise Arm’s existing AI tools and investments, ensuring every capability is fully utilised and connected to business needs. Stress test and explore performance boundaries, scalability and optimisation.
- Maintain a balanced innovation pipeline, exploring, testing, and showcasing new possibilities for enterprise transformation.
- Develop cloud and model agnostic design patterns, enabling flexible use of multiple LLM providers and internal AI frameworks - working across Databricks, AWS, Azure etc.
- Embed LangOps / MLOps practices, including CI/CD for prompts and agents, automated evaluation, telemetry, and cost/token optimisation.
- Drive responsible, value focused innovation, ensuring each incubation has a defined business problem, measurable outcome & ROI, supporting AI strategy and OSKR linkage.
- Innovate using AI itself applying LLMs, automation, and research techniques to accelerate development and discovery.
- Collaborate with Enablement Leads and Super Users to pilot scalable AI solutions, identifying enterprise bottlenecks and mitigating risks like bias and prompt injection.
- Proactively identify and mitigate AI risks, including prompt injection, bias, hallucination, and data, through structured testing, red-teaming, and model evaluation.
- Document and share optimisation opportunities, safe use playbooks, and mitigation patterns to enhance value and support responsible, sustainable AI adoption.
- Engage with strategic partners to identify joint innovation pilots and bring external innovations into Arm responsibly.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Hands‑on experience designing, building, and deploying AI, ML & GenAI solutions in complex enterprise settings.
- Deep technical fluency with ML, LLMs, RAG architectures, Agentic AI frameworks.
- Proficient in Python skills with experience in ML libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or similar frameworks
- Demonstrable ability to prototype quickly, validate ideas, and transition successful pilots to Prod.
- Effective in balancing innovation with business impact, linking technical outcomes directly to OSKRs and enterprise strategy.
- Established expertise in ethical and responsible AI design, data privacy, bias testing, model security, and governance, familiar with regulations such as the EU AI Act.
- Experience with fine tuning and Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Chroma etc)
- Experience with AI observability tools (weights, biases, MLflow, Trulens, Langsmith)
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Actively engaged in applied AI research, emerging technologies and open source ecosystems. Familiarity with robotics, edge AI applications beyond typical enterprise use cases.
- Experienced in integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft.
- Knowledgeable in AI for sustainability, including energy-efficient architectures and green compute!
- Skilled in sourcing, interpreting, and applying AI research to translate external innovations into testable solutions within Arm.
