Responsibilities:
The Business Change Manager will support the design, planning and execution of business change and user‑adoption activities across the Programme. The post holder will coordinate change readiness activities, manage stakeholder engagement routines, support early‑adopter mobilisation, shape user‑journey design, and ensure departments have the guidance, communications and tools required to adopt the new service successfully.
A core responsibility of this role is to develop and manage the Business Change Plan for both the user community and the current service operations, ensuring that each group is prepared, informed and supported throughout the transition.
They will work closely with the Business Change & Stakeholder Engagement Lead, Programme Director, CTO, PMO and Senior Supplier teams to ensure consistent change planning and an integrated approach across all programme workstreams.
Business Change Delivery
- Experience supporting business change in medium‑to‑large‑scale programmes, preferably in secure or complex government environments.
- Practical understanding of adoption, readiness and stakeholder‑engagement disciplines.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders, operational teams and user communities across multiple departments.
- Experience facilitating workshops and structured engagement sessions.
Readiness, TOM & Operational Change
- Experience contributing to TOM development, organisational readiness assessments and user‑journey design.
Communications & Materials Development
- Ability to prepare clear, engaging and concise communications, guides and briefing materials for diverse audiences.
Secure‑Environment Delivery (Desirable)
- Experience working in secure environments.
- Understanding the behavioural and operational constraints of secure working.
