Anglian Water @one Alliance is a collaborative organisation made up of nine partner companies (Anglian Water, SWECO, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, and Skanska) and an extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.
We are gearing up for our most exciting and challenging Asset Management Period, AMP8, which will involve delivering a programme of work larger than any we have previously undertaken. This new kind of project delivery focuses on nature‑based solutions such as wetlands and urban drainage schemes, driving change and setting global benchmarks to build a better environment. It offers enhanced growth and development opportunities for our workforce and a career‑progression‑focused environment.
Transforming society together, Sweco plans and designs sustainable communities and cities of the future. We solve the great societal challenges of our time, harnessing digitalisation and sustainability to deliver solutions that address urbanisation. Our ambition is to be our clients’ most relevant partner, working together to solve their challenges today and into the future.
We ask our employees to have office or site presence on an average of three days a week.
As a Project Manager you will lead and manage teams responsible for developing and delivering solutions across some of the largest projects in water (£30 m+). You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards, and in full compliance with legislation, Alliance governance, and processes. You will own major projects throughout their full lifecycle, resolving operational challenges and balancing competing priorities to achieve positive outcomes for all stakeholders.
We want all our colleagues to thrive at work. Our culture is friendly and inclusive and respects the contributions of individuals. We promote equality, inclusivity and diversity for everyone. We encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates irrespective of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, pregnancy or maternity/paternity.
We have signed the Armed Forces Covenant to ensure those who serve or have served, and their families, are treated fairly. We support fair pay and are a Real Living Wage Employer. We are a Disability Confident employer and will interview applicants covered by the Equality Act 2010 that opt into the guaranteed interview scheme and meet the minimum criteria for the role.
If you need a reasonable accommodation to complete any part of the application process, contact sweco.uk HR for assistance.
