We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a logistics firm based in Wednesbury on a full time permanent basis.
The role will be 5 days on site, is for 37.5 hours a week and the salary is up to £36,000.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR professional to partner with a dedicated business area, delivering comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR contact for a designated business area, providing end-to-end HR advice and guidance
- Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
- Coach and support managers to build people-management capability and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
- Oversee HR operational activity, ensuring employee lifecycle processes are accurate, timely and compliant
- Review and approve HR documentation, acting as an escalation point for complex operational queries
- Ensure all HR activity complies with UK employment law, internal policies and best practice
- Produce and analyse HR reports, using data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement
About You
- Demonstrable experience managing a range of employee relations cases
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Confident in coaching and influencing managers
- Full UK Driving Licence
