Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for individuals to become a Machine Operator with our Glenrothes-based food production client!

What’s on offer?

• An ongoing temporary position
• Paid weekly at 12.80 per hour (plus 8 back shift allowance per shift)
• Working on a two-week rotational shift basis, between day shift and back shift

Working from their site in Glenrothes, you will be an essential member of the team. Where your duties will include:

• Operating of industrial machinery
• Maintain set standards in line with company and culture requirements
• Safely operate tools and equipment
• Communicate with other staff members about areas of risk and maintenance required
• Some manual handling and other hygiene related requirements

To be successful in this Machine Operator role, you will ideally have previous experience working in an industrial environment – but not essential. xwzovoh Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:

• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Being able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Working at height, cherry picker, scissor lift experience is beneficial but NOT REQUIRED
