Brook Street Social Care , in proud partnership with a respected children’s residential care provider in Manchester , is recruiting for experienced and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join their compassionate and expanding team.
About the Role:
As a Residential Support Worker , you will play a pivotal role in supporting young people with EBD needs in a safe, children centred and structured environment. You will offer support with a team of residential support workers, ensuring the highest quality of care is consistently delivered while promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in your care.
Key Responsibilities:Support young people in care with day to day duties and independence.Ensure all safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards are metSupport the development and implementation of individual care plansBuild trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals
Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) -Ideally or happy to work towards.Previous experience within a similar setting – either young people in care or family support.Strong communication and organisational skillsA genuine passion for making a difference in young people’s livesAbility to work flexibly, including nights, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shiftsDriver with access to own car
