* Please be aware that access to your own transport is required due to the location of the clients site * Connect Appointments is recruiting a FLT Driver/Intake Operative to join an established packaging business in the outskirts of Bathgate. What’s on offer? Ongoing temporary position Rotating 12-hour shifts between day and night shift DAY SHIFT: Monday to Wednesday 6am to 6pm, Thursday 06.00am to 2.00pm NIGHT SHIFT: Monday to Wednesday 6pm to 6am 14.00 per hour, paid weekly PPE provided prior to start date As an FLT Driver/Intake Operative, your duties will include: Safely unloading delivery vehicles and transporting raw materials to designated storage areas Checking incoming stock against delivery notes for damage, accuracy and quantity Stacking, racking and organising pallets, crates and cages to maximise storage space Supplying materials to production lines and re-palletising damaged goods where required Adhering to all site health and safety requirements at all times The ideal FLT Driver/Intake Operative will have: A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence with RTITB or ITSSAR accreditation With previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT Previous experience in a warehouse, intake or production environment A reliable, safety-conscious approach to work Interested?
