Overview
HR Manager – ER & Process Specialist for an international client. The role reports to the HR Director and focuses on Employee Relations (ER) and recruitment workload, with a hands-on, process-driven approach.
Responsibilities
- Own ER casework from start to finish, acting as the first point of contact for managers and employees
- Run full recruitment campaigns, from writing adverts to onboarding
- Keep HR policies, contracts, and processes compliant and up to date
- Support health & safety and facilities matters
- Review and improve existing HR processes and documentation trails— streamline for efficiency
- Maintain accurate records so HR files are audit-ready
About You / Qualifications
- Currently an HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor or HR Officer seeking your first management role
- Confident in managing disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations
- Process-driven with strong documentation and compliance skills
- Knowledge of health & safety and/or facilities management is useful
- CIPD Level 5 preferred or working towards
- Comfortable in a straight-talking, results-driven environment
- Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable in a flat, hands-on structure

Location & Compensation
Base pay range: £45,000 (example). Bishops Stortford – Hybrid (3 days office-based)
