The Company:

OXBO are partnered with a leading Renewable Energy IPP looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to their collaborative and social Glasgow team.

As Assistant Project Manager you will assist in the delivery of utility-scale Solar and BESS projects from pre-construction through to handover to O&M.

The Role:

  • Support in management of overall delivery of multiple utility-scale Solar and BESS construction projects.
  • Assist in the management of all aspects of projects, including Construction, Health & Safety, and quality standards across sites.
  • Support and manage grid agreement interfaces, general engineering activities, procuring and contract administration.
  • Proactively identify construction risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to protect programme and cost.
  • Monitor and report deviations to scope, schedule, or budget, providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Undertake development and O&M works in order to gain all round knowledge of project life cycles.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within the renewable energy industry, within the development and delivery phases.
  • Experience should be within Solar PV, Batter Storage (BESS) or Onshore wind projects (other industries with suitable transferrable skills will also be considered).
  • Experience in contract preparation, negotiation and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland Construction, CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Understanding of Grid operators and connection processes.
  • Confident communicator with stakeholders and contractor management skills.
  • Ability to manager several project tasks at once and able to plan and prioritise.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site as required.
