The Opportunity
An established and growing residential managing agent is looking to appoint a block manager to join their West Midlands-based team.
This business has seen steady growth over the past few years and continues to invest in its people. They operate with a collaborative team model where property managers are supported by a comprehensive back office team and administrative staff.
These roles would suit either an experienced block manager or someone progressing toward a senior property manager position.
The Portfolio
You will be responsible for a portfolio of approximately 30 developments. The portfolio includes a small number of high-risk buildings, although HRB experience is not essential as training can be provided.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of a residential block portfolio
- Managing service charge budgets and expenditure
- Coordinating maintenance works and contractor management
- Handling resident and client communication
- Attending site inspections and meetings where required
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation and building safety requirements
- Managing major works where required
The Person
- Experience managing a residential block portfolio
- Comfortable managing developments independently
- Strong client and resident communication skills
- Organised with good attention to detail
- HRB experience beneficial but not essential
This role would suit someone either established at block manager level or looking to step into a more senior role.
