Cognisant has been appointed by a well‑established housebuilder to recruit an Interim Managing Director to lead, inspire and manage the regional team during a key phase of delivery and growth.

This role requires a visible and engaging leader who can shape strategy, influence culture and ensure operational excellence, while maintaining the energy, standards and ambition that underpin the business’s success.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Driving continued regional growth in line with the agreed business plan
• Embedding a high‑performance culture focused on quality, cost control, programme delivery and customer satisfaction
• Providing clear, confident leadership that motivates, supports and develops teams
• Ensuring all business functions operate effectively and collaboratively
• Promoting the business across the region and supporting the identification of new development opportunities

The successful candidate will:

• Be a proven senior leader with experience operating at Managing Director or equivalent level
• Demonstrate the ability to lead diverse teams and deliver results in complex environments
• Bring strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and operational discipline
• Be an engaging and credible communicator, able to influence at all levels
• Come from housebuilding, development or a transferable sector where scale, delivery and leadership are critical
