Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, intervention and therapy programmes for children with a range of speech, language and communication needs.
- Work closely with teaching staff to embed communication‑supportive strategies across the school day.
- Contribute to EHCPs, reviews, reports and collaborative planning meetings.
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to pupil needs.
- Offer training, advice and modelling to teachers, support staff and parents.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with professional standards.
Requirements
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered).
- Experience working with children in educational or paediatric settings.
- Strong communication, collaboration and organisational skills.
- Commitment to child‑centred practice and inclusive education.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
