Package: £62,000 per year + fostering allowance + £1,000 for birthdays & holidays

• To foster in the UK, applicants must be at least 21 years old. Are you 21 or over?
• Do you have a spare dedicated bedroom?
• Have you currently or previously been a Foster Carer or Kinship Carer?
• Have you got professional experience of working with children and young people, and/or vulnerable adults in a professional or personal capacity?

All Foster Carers must have the legal right to work in the UK.

You have the right if you are:

• British or Irish Passport Holder
• Settled Status under the EU Settlement Scheme
• Pre Settled Status under the EU Settlement Scheme
• Granted Indefinite Leave to Remain permit

You will need to prove your right to work with original documents, such as a passport or Home Office documentation before starting an application.

As a Specialist Therapeutic Foster Carer, you will welcome a child or young person into your home and provide consistent, full-time care, often supporting those with more complex emotional or behavioural needs.

Fostering is not just for couples - what matters most is your dedication, patience, and ability to provide a safe, supportive home. In fact, most Foster Carers in the UK are single, proving that one caring adult can make an extraordinary difference.

If you have experience in education, healthcare, social care, youth work, or similar roles, you may already have the professional skills to make a life-changing difference.

What You Receive

• £62,000 per year
• The child’s fostering allowance
• £1,000 additional payment for birthdays and holidays
• Trauma-informed training and ongoing professional development
• 24-hour clinical support
• Up to 28 days respite
• Peer support networks, including the Mockingbird Constellation

This is a full-time role providing care in your own home, supported by a dedicated local fostering team. A spare bedroom dedicated to fostering is essential.
