Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a growing manufacturing business in their search for a capable Plant Manager to lead operations at their Hull facility, with the view to be involved in a new factory expansion
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual ready to move from a supporting role into full operational leadership. You’ll take ownership of a multi-functional site, driving performance, embedding structure, and developing a high-performing team.
The Role
Lead site operations, taking full responsibility for production, quality, engineering, H&S, and warehousing, ensuring the site delivers against performance targets.
Embed structure and process by introducing and develop KPIs, management systems, and standard operating procedures to improve visibility and control.
Driving continuous improvement, delivering measurable gains in efficiency, cost reduction, waste minimisation, and throughput using data-led decision making.
Develop and lead your team by coaching and supporting departmental managers to ensure consistent delivery and accountability across functions.
Lead site-wide improvement initiatives including Lean programmes, process optimisation, and system implementation.
About You
Experienced within a manufacturing environment, with strong shop floor understanding
Proven ability to influence or lead teams, projects, or operational improvements
Analytical and solutions-focused, with a track record of identifying and delivering improvements
Hands-on approach, combined with the ability to bring structure, organisation, and clarity
A positive, problem solving attitude
Ideally degree qualified
