Job Title: Scenic Project Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scenic Project Manager to join a team in Acton, London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in scenic build environments who can confidently manage workshop and onsite teams while overseeing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships. The position involves both workshop-based management and international travel for onsite installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scenic build teams in both workshop and onsite environments
- Oversee project budgets
- Produce and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare costings, estimates, and purchase orders
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during projects
- Coordinate with workshop teams and onsite crews to ensure build quality and efficiency
- Provide regular progress reporting to the Workshop Manager
- Travel internationally when required to support onsite installations
Required Experience
- Proven experience managing teams of up to 12 people
- Experience managing project budgets up to £150k
- Strong skills in budgeting, estimating, and cost control
- Experience creating and managing project schedules
- Hands-on carpentry or scenic build experience
- Experience managing builds both in a workshop and onsite
Desirable (Nice to Have)
- Experience using HireHop software
- CAD design experience
