Overview
Sprinkler Design Manager – Hybrid Position
Salary/Package – £75,000 – £85,000 basic + Benefits Package
Location – London
Permanent Position (Hybrid)
I’m working with an ambitious fire sprinkler contractor in London that’s building momentum in the sprinkler industry in the UK. Projects span across high-rise residential, commercial offices, retail, and education projects—and now they need a Sprinkler Design Manager to take ownership of their design function and help shape what comes next.
Responsibilities
- Lead sprinkler design across multiple live projects
- Produce and review designs using Revit (essential)
- Coordinate with M&E consultants, architects, and main contractors
- Ensure compliance with LPCB standards and relevant regulations
- Support value engineering and buildability reviews
- Mentor junior designers as the team grows
What You’ll Be Working On
- High-rise residential developments
- Office blocks and commercial schemes
- Retail units and mixed-use buildings
- Schools and education facilities
- In short: proper projects, not small patchwork jobs
What We’re Looking For
- LPCB Basic (minimum)
- Strong experience in fire sprinkler system design
- Proficiency in Revit (this is key)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Confidence working directly with clients and consultants
- A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset
Why This Role Stands Out
- You’ll join a growing business where your impact is visible
- No corporate layers—you’ll actually influence how things are done
- Opportunity to build and lead a design team over time
- Work on diverse, technically interesting projects across London
- A leadership role without the bureaucracy
The Bottom Line
If you’re a sprinkler designer ready to step up—or already leading but tired of being a small cog in a big machine—this is your chance to take ownership and grow with a company that’s going places. Please send your CV ASAP. INDBMS
