The role They’re seeking a leader to own and drive the marketing function. You’ll work closely with the founder and be accountable for the team’s output, performance, and strategic direction. This is a leadership-focused position — less hands-on execution, more people management, systems improvement, and results delivery.

Key responsibilities
- Take full ownership of marketing performance and outcomes
- Lead, manage and develop the marketing team
- Set measurable targets, KPIs and clear expectations
- Monitor results and ensure accountability across the team
- Plan campaigns and allocate resources to maximise ROI
- Diagnose what’s working and what isn’t, and drive continuous improvement
- Build scalable processes and reporting for the marketing function
Typical day-to-day
- Review campaign and performance metrics
- Prioritise team workload and manage delivery
- Run team meetings, check-ins and performance reviews
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action
- Provide direction and problem-solving support to team members
- Ensure marketing activity aligns with business objectives
- Report performance and progress to senior leadership
Skills & experience
- Experience leading or managing a marketing team
- Strong knowledge of paid channels (Meta, Google, YouTube) — strategic oversight preferred over hands-on execution
- Ability to interpret performance data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Track record of improving team performance and processes
- Results-focused mindset
