Group Finance Director

Group Finance Director | PE-Backed | People-Focused Services

London (Hybrid) | 6–12 Month Contract

We’re partnering with a high-growth, Private Equity-backed, people-focused services business entering an exciting phase of scale.

We’re looking for a Group Finance Director to act as the right hand to the CFO – taking full ownership of the finance function, including FP&A, financial control, and commercial finance, while driving performance and supporting strategic growth.

Key focus areas:

• Full ownership of the group finance function (FP&A, control, reporting & commercial finance)
• Partner with the CFO, CEO, and Board on strategy and decision-making
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Deliver insight to drive performance, margin improvement, and growth
• Support M&A, investment, and expansion initiatives
• Build and lead a high-performing, people-focused finance team

About you:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong post-qualified experience
• Proven Finance Director / Group FD experience in PE-backed or high-growth environments
• Strong technical and commercial finance background across FP&A and controls
• Confident operating at Board and investor level
• Hands-on, commercially minded leader who thrives in fast-paced environments
