A leading international law firm is seeking to appoint a Real Estate Associate (4–7 PQE) into its expanding London practice, as part of continued investment in a high-performing and well-established real estate platform.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a team recognised for delivering high-quality, complex real estate work across investment, development, and asset management matters, with a strong and consistent pipeline of instructions from institutional investors, developers, and corporate clients.
The practice advises on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, with a strong reputation for handling transactionally complex and often high-value mandates across multiple sectors and asset classes.
The role offers exposure to:
- Commercial real estate acquisitions and disposals
- Large-scale development and regeneration projects
- Investment and asset management work for institutional clients and funds
- Complex leasing and landlord & tenant matters
- Multi-party and cross-border transactions involving sophisticated stakeholders
Associates can expect a broad and varied workload, with significant responsibility on live transactions, including:
- Running and supporting end-to-end real estate deals
- Drafting and negotiating key transaction documentation, including SPAs, leases, and development agreements
- Advising on site acquisition, structuring, and development strategy
- Managing elements of portfolio and asset management work
- Working closely with clients, agents, and internal stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
- Collaborating with specialists across finance, construction, planning, and corporate disciplines
The team places strong emphasis on early responsibility, client exposure, and hands-on development, supported by experienced senior lawyers.
Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a 4–7 PQE Real Estate Associate who can demonstrate:
- Strong experience in commercial real estate transactions
- Exposure to development, investment, and/or asset management work
- Solid technical grounding in property law and transactional drafting
- Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy and client interaction
- Strong communication skills and a commercial, pragmatic mindset
- Experience gained at a reputable law firm environment
