Kintec Global Recruitment is partnering with a leading global engineering and professional services consultancy to recruit a Senior / Project Manager to support the delivery of major infrastructure programmes across the UK.

This is a pivotal leadership role within a rapidly expanding Project Management team, offering the opportunity to deliver high-value, complex, multi-disciplinary projects as part of the AMP8 investment cycle – the largest capital programme in the UK water sector to date.

You will act as a key interface between clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring successful delivery across cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of large and complex infrastructure projects and programmes, ensuring successful outcomes against key performance metrics
  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams, driving efficiency and collaboration
  • Serve as the primary client interface, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  • Take ownership of commercial and financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and cost estimates
  • Ensure adherence to governance, safety, and quality standards
  • Support bid preparation and tender submissions, contributing to programme and cost development
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Support business development activities, strengthening client relationships and securing repeat work

Project Exposure

  • AMP8 frameworks (2025–2030) across the UK water sector
  • Design & Build alliances with Tier 1 contractors
  • Long-term frameworks with major UK utilities
  • Large-scale infrastructure and sustainable water projects, including resilience and treatment programmes

Candidate Profile

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing project financials and contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills
  • Experience within the UK water sector or regulated infrastructure environment
  • Track record of delivering projects to time, cost, and quality targets
