A leading UK professional services firm is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to support growth across its Southern region.
This is a newly created role with a strong focus on driving revenue through intermediary relationships, strategic targeting, and partner engagement. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and embed a more commercial, proactive BD culture.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and deliver regional business development strategies aligned to firmwide priorities
- Build and manage key intermediary relationships, driving new business opportunities
- Lead client targeting and cross-selling initiatives across multiple service lines
- Support high-quality pitch and tender activity
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and execute growth plans
- Track performance, pipeline and ROI, using data to inform decision-making
The role requires:
- 5+ years’ experience in business development within professional or financial services
- Strong track record working with senior stakeholders and influencing at partner level
- Experience in intermediary management, client targeting, or relationship development
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and progress opportunities
- Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative approach
