A well-regarded and growing Manchester-based law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Paralegal to join its expanding Litigation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career within litigation, with exposure to both property and commercial disputes, and a clear pathway towards a future Training Contract.
The Role:
You will support experienced fee earners on a varied caseload of property litigation matters, while also gaining exposure to wider commercial litigation work. The role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with a range of property litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, possession claims, and boundary disputes
- Supporting on commercial litigation cases where required, gaining broader litigation exposure
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court bundles
- Conducting legal research to support case strategy and progression
- Liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties to assist with file progression
- Managing case files and ensuring key deadlines are met
- Attending court hearings and client meetings where appropriate
Requirements:
- Previous experience within litigation (property litigation preferred, but commercial litigation experience also considered)
- Strong interest in developing a career within property litigation
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- A proactive and professional approach
