My client, a well-regarded and long-established player in the electronic components space, is looking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth in across the UK.
This Technical Sales Manager position sits within a specialist business unit focused on sensing and related technologies, combining new business activity with the development of existing accounts. The role is highly customer-facing, engaging both engineering and commercial stakeholders, with real influence at the design stage.
As a Technical Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of your territory -identifying opportunities, building relationships with OEMs and technical teams, and supporting projects from early concept through to production. You’ll be responsible for developing a healthy pipeline and converting opportunities across a range of industrial markets.
Key focus areas:
- Growing revenue across sensor and electronic component solutions
- Building strong relationships with engineers, buyers, and decision-makers
- Identifying and winning new business within target sectors
- Supporting customers through the full sales cycle, from design-in to delivery
- Managing pipeline activity, forecasting, and territory planning

- Background in technical sales or a customer-facing engineering role
- Exposure to sensors, instrumentation, or related technologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial audiences
