Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Project Manager located in Draycott, Derbyshire. The Project Manager will take ownership of projects from point of sale through to completion. This role is key to supporting our continued growth by freeing up our sales team to focus on new business, while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard.

Full project management, ensuring customer satisfaction, delivering exceptional customer service, making sure projects are delivered on time and within budget whilst maintaining effective communication.

This will be a hybrid role based on site in Draycott or commutable to any of our customer sites Nationwide – Standard hours are Monday – Thursday (9am – 5pm) with a Flexible Friday (9am – 1pm) option of working from home or the office to suit you, you may also be required to work outside of these hours as per the project requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Take full ownership of projects from sales handover 

·        Review specifications, drawings, RAMS and client requirements 

·        Create project timelines, Programme of works and delivery plans 

·       Liaising with manufacturers, suppliers and contractors

·        Organise transport, cranage, installation, and groundwork contractors 

·        Ensure all parties are aligned on timelines and scope 

·        Act as the main point of contact post-sale with all parties

·        Provide regular updates and manage expectations 

·        Coordinate delivery schedules across multiple projects 

·        Attend site where required (key installs) 

·        Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget 

·        Proactively identify risks or delays 

·        Resolve issues quickly to avoid impact on the client 

Knowledge, skills and experience

·     Industry knowledge would be an advantage.

·     Proven experience in a project management role or similar. (Project management qualifications or equivalents would be advantageous for example)

·     Previous experience in a role requiring high-level communication, strong organisation skills and initiative.

·     The ability to plan, prioritise and manage own work to deliver agreed objectives

·     Close attention to detail, awareness of Health and Safety and experience of working on construction sites.

·     Strong IT skills allowing you to effectively use internal systems

·     Effective and appropriate communication skills via email, phone and in person

·     Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

·     Understanding of data protection and importance of confidentiality.

·     Full UK driving licence
